6″ x 8″ Original unframed illustration by art therapy student. The paper is handmade using recycled paper and za’atar from Palestine. The ink is handmade iron gall ink (iron sulfate + pomegranate peels – a fruit that has been grown in Palestine for thousands of years). As this student prepared the pomegranate for the ink, all the little seeds within the fruit-globe reminded her of our interconnectedness, reflected back into this piece.
